Brian Bartel

Brian Bartel has over ten years of healthcare supply chain experience and has held various roles in purchasing, category management, and leadership. He currently serves as the Director of Materials Management at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon. He is passionate about professional development and has served on the Association of Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM) education committee since 2019. He has been a Certified Materials and Resource Professional since 2013 and became a Fellow of the Association of Healthcare Materials Management in May of 2021. He also is a Certified Associate in Project Management through the Project Management Institute. After earning his MBA he was interested in teaching and has recently started working as an adjunct business instructor at Linn-Benton Community College where he teaches business process improvement.
